Dedicated to Making a Difference

My journey as a therapist began over 28 years ago, but the seeds were planted long before that. While working at a residential treatment center for teenage girls, I saw firsthand the devastating effects of emotional neglect, abuse, and trauma. Many of the girls came from fractured families and turned to destructive behaviors as a way to cope. Their stories stayed with me, sparking a deep passion to make a difference.

This calling led me to Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, where I earned my Master of Social Service in 1995. Over the years, my work has evolved, from helping children to supporting families and couples. My desire to provide comprehensive support inspired me to complete advanced training in marriage and family therapy and to pursue certification in sex addiction treatment. These experiences have shaped my empathetic and collaborative approach.
